Meet Kyle Royer - Master Bladesmith

I’m Kyle Royer, and for over 18 years, I’ve been obsessed with crafting the perfect knife. From an early age, I knew I wanted to dedicate my life to knifemaking, and through years of hard work, trial and error, and relentless passion, I’ve honed my skills to become one of the youngest Master Bladesmiths in history.

Each knife I make is a unique piece of art, meticulously handcrafted from the finest materials. My specialty lies in creating intricate Damascus patterns, high-performance blades, and knives that balance form and function. Whether it’s a custom bowie knife, a finely detailed dagger, or a sword, my aim is always the same: to push the boundaries of craftsmanship.

My work is not just about making knives; it’s about telling a story through steel. The intricate patterns in the blade, the curves of the handle, and the precision of each piece reflect my dedication to both tradition and innovation. Every knife that leaves my forge carries with it years of experience, my love for the craft, and a promise of quality.

I’ve had the privilege of crafting knives for collectors and enthusiasts around the world, and my work has been featured in prestigious knife shows and competitions. Yet, no matter how far I’ve come, I still see each new project as an opportunity to grow, learn, and push my skills to the next level.

When I’m not in the forge, I love teaching others the art of knifemaking. Through my online courses and educational/entering YouTube videos, I share everything I’ve learned with aspiring bladesmiths, helping them improve their craft and create knives they can be proud of.
